National Check the Chip Day Clinic Poster Competition Terms and Conditions
Competition period The National Check the Chip Day Clinic Poster Competition is open from Wednesday 29 July and closes at 5:00pm Friday 14 August 2026.
How to enter To enter, veterinary clinics must display the National Check the Chip Day poster in their clinic waiting room and submit a photo showing the poster displayed in their clinic to Companion Animals New Zealand (CANZ who are custodians of the NZCAR) via email to info@animalregister.co.nz by the closing date.
Eligibility The competition is open to veterinary clinics located in New Zealand. One entry per clinic is permitted.
Prize One winning clinic will receive a microchip barcode scanner supplied by Companion Animals New Zealand and posted free of charge.
Winner selection and notification The winner will be selected at random by CANZ from all eligible entries received. The decision will be made by end of day Monday 31 August 2026 and is final. The winning clinic will be contacted directly using the details provided at entry.
Use of submitted images By entering, clinics grant CANZ permission to use submitted images for promotional purposes, including sharing on CANZ websites, social media channels and other communications. CANZ will credit the clinic where appropriate.
Prize conditions The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.
General conditions CANZ reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entry that does not meet these terms and conditions. CANZ reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition where necessary.
